Jumps Group: ‘'Rob’s Group’
Training starts at 6:15pm and is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Venues include the track and Braunton School Sports Hall.
Middle Distance Development Group: ‘Steve and Chris' Group’.
This group is aimed at the more endurance based athletes, mainly in the under 13 and under 15 age groups, and it's primary aim is the development of cross country racing in the winter and middle distance racing on the track in the summer.
We also include sessions of Hurdling, Long Jump, High Jump and Throws as this encourages all round athletic development and we often find hidden talent in these events.
Training is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15pm, as well as many Sunday mornings. Sessions are varied with a focus on the key aspects of movement patterns, posture and running technique as well as all the ingredients that make up an endurance programme.
